DIY Blue Beach Glass & Bali Connector Necklace Recipe from

Look what Cheryl whipped up the other day! She used some jewelry making supplies from our .99 cent sale at mixed with some of our beach glass and bali style pewter items and came up with a lovely necklace that’s easy to make and beautiful to wear.  This necklace is all links – no string or beading wire! For instructions and clickable supply list & links, read on!

Note: This makes an 18″ finished necklace as shown above. Add or remove links to adjust length. Magnetic clasp detail shown below.

To make it:

  1. Assemble 11 individual beaded links using the eye pin threaded with sea glass bead round. Form loop on second end (use pliers to wrap second end around an open round nosed plier or thin skewer or chopstick).
  2. You may need to trim the end (nail nlppers work very well for this task!)
  3. Attach 12 bali style connectors with single or double (extra secure) jump rings.
  4. Add magnetic clasp to each finished bracelet (linking ring ends) with jump ring.

You’re done!

You can easily change out the look of this necklace by switching the beach glass bead color – see all of our available sea glass bead colors and sizes here:

BELOW Cheryl also made this lovely blue and white porcelain and sea glass linking ring bracelet (below) which goes nicely with the blue white necklace project shown above. See our blog for complete instructions for the bracelet!

BELOW She also made some beautiful sea glass and silver heart earrings from the same linking rings we used here. Click on the picture below to see our DIY blog post for this easy design. Swap out sea glass bead colors to coordinate your design with our project idea above.
