In the spirit of breezy summer days, here is a whimsical little necklace to try. We took several of our newest arrivals (see them all here) and incorporated them into a simple message necklace built around “SOAR”. Becky used our new 1217Z Airplane Charms, 1216B Alphabet Soup Beads in Silver, 1217V Bird Branch Connector, 1183C Crystal Bicones Mix, our new 1240S Ball Chain Necklace, and a few headpins and jump rings for connectors. DIY Tea, Cocoa, or Wine Charms
Look what our ever-crafty Anne cooked up – a teapot themed set of wine charms. These could be used just as easily as tea party charms or for cocoa – whatever the occasion to gather might be. She used some of our newest beadable tea pot frame charms 1217H, along with 10mm beads (here’s some ideas) strung on eye pins, head pins and a few accent beads (find smaller 4mm beads here), and finished with a set of our wine charm loops SKU 230.
There are so many ideas that are sure to sprout from this – wine charms can be made in almost any theme – easy for girl’s night or group crafts. I can see some of our gorgeous lampwork glass rondelles or crystal rondelles working in these frames too – any beadable object 10mm thick or less will work in these little charmers.

DIY Faux Dichroic Glass Pendants, Magnets
We love this idea! We’ve all been experimenting with nail polish on glass tiles but Becky really got the technique down when she floated a thick layer of very dark grey or black nail polish onto our 303G or 302F glass tiles, followed immediately by dropping glittered nail polish onto the wet base coat. The result? Pretty close to dichroic!
To make into a pendant: Seal the front with clear nail polish or Krylon matte or gloss spray varnish, let dry fully. Then, either: Add a glue-on bail to the back or e6000 your finished tile right into one of our square or metal bases 1241, 1242, 1239, 1240 and you’ve got a ready to wear art glass pendant.
