Voila! A finished scrabble tile necklace in under a minute!

Even if you feel like you might lack the crafty gene, this is a GREAT quick home-made creative gift you can make in under a minute! We’ve added options at the end of this post if you’d like to embellish this basic idea. We’ve included a supply list at the end of this post.

Start with 1 of our scrabble tiles. Choose one of our glue-on bails ~ picturered here we chose our perfectly acceptable! seconds – 806Ms. alternately you can use our our 806A-10pc (their grade A quality cousins). You can also use our 3/4″ rectangle bails or other glue-on bail styles found here.

Choose a glue-on bail between 1/2 to 3/4″ – here we used our 806m-10pack glue on bails.

Add a dab of e6000 ~ this is easy!

Apply a small dab of e6000 all purpose adhesive. Even it out into a thin even layer with the edge of household nail, popsicle stick, etc.

Add the adhesive loaded pad of your glue-on bail to the back side of the Scrabble tile.

Apply glued bail to tile back (wow, this is SO easy!)

Let dry fully, add one of our ball chains, snake chains, neck cords, embellish with a colorful little dangle if you’d like.

We made a simple bicone dangle with a headpin looped around the end of a chopstick, trimmed with nail nippers (wow, this is SO easy!)

We made our simple dangle by loading one of our 6mm bicone crystals onto an eyepin or headpin. Loop the top around the edge of your round nose pliers or a chop stick. Trim to edge of loop closure with household nail nippers if you don’t have cutting pliers.

Wrap it up in one of our organza or velveteen gift bags.

Place one of our scrabble tile adhesive epoxy covers on your photo or printout.
Trim to edge of epoxy cover.
Glue to scrabble tile with e6000 or double sided tape.

Voila! Our scrabble tile necklace transformed into a photo pendant ~ stick our epoxy cover onto your photo, trim, and glue to the tile front!

Personalize by adding a simple colorful dangle to represent a favorite color or birthstone.

Voila! A finished scrabble tile necklace transformed into an embellished photo pendant ~ just add a simple bicone on a headpin, loop it and trim!

Convert to a collage charm or pendant.
Place one of our scrabble tile adhesive epoxy covers on your art, scrapbook paper, wrapping paper or printout.
Trim to edge of epoxy cover.
Glue to scrabble tile with e6000 or double sided tape.

Voila! Our finished scrabble tile necklace transformed into an embellished art pendant with a little wrapping paper. Just stick our clear epoxy cover to your wrapping paper, trim, glue to tile! Add a bicone dangle if you’d like! This was still pretty easy!
